Who am I?
Flower Fairy :)
My name is Alina, and my passion is creating flowers, berries, mushrooms, and other plants from cold porcelain.
I make custom floral pieces, host workshops, and design tools and materials for this unique craft.
What are cold porcelain flowers?
Cold porcelain flowers are grace and delicacy that never fade with time. To me, they are more than just interior décor or a beautiful gift — they are memories. Memories of a summer garden, a warm breeze, birdsong.
For every woman, a flower is never just a plant. It can hold something deeply personal: the memory of a bouquet once given, a day that will never be forgotten, or a fragrance only she can recall.
A flower is more than a piece of nature — it is a symbol of something meaningful that touches the soul.
I love flowers, I admire them, and I strive to capture their beauty in all its variety of shapes and colors. Through my work, I share a small piece of magic with you.
How did I come to this?
Back in 2006, I stumbled upon photos of cold porcelain flowers online and instantly fell in love with the idea of creating them myself. The journey since then has been long and challenging.
At that time, there were no tutorials or workshops available. I would take apart real flowers, sketch and write down their structure, and then try to recreate them as faithfully as possible.
At first, the results were far from perfect — but with every flower, I grew better and closer to capturing their true beauty.
Why did I start making tools?
It’s simple — there was nowhere to buy them. The only option was to order from abroad and pay extra for shipping.
Making tools turned out to be much more challenging than I imagined. I had to learn a lot: working with casting silicone and plastics, 3D modeling, and 3D printing. Of course, I also invested in special equipment to ensure that the tools are high-quality, practical, and beautiful.
Workshops
I had mastered making tools and even developed my own recipe for cold porcelain, and it felt too precious to keep it all to myself.
Workshops are a place where people come to relax, leave their worries behind, learn something new, and connect with others.
For a long time, I hesitated — I was afraid. But in 2016, a kind person told me: “Alina, maybe you won’t teach a professional anything new, but you can definitely teach a beginner.” Those words became the catalyst for everything that followed.
Over time, my workshops grew more thoughtful and refined, and today I’m certain that even professionals would find something inspiring in them.
What has always been the most important?
Support! As simple as it may sound.
Without the support of my loved ones (especially my husband!) and, of course, all of you, this exciting and inspiring journey would not have been possible. There would not be so many flowers sculpted, tools cast, or workshop programs developed.
Thank you!
